Dr. Parul Sony is a senior visiting
consultant at Visitech. She completed her Ophthalmology Residency from
the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). She
worked as Senior Resident and then as a Senior Research Associate
gaining valuable experience in diagnosis, treatment, research and
teaching. She has also worked as a Fellow at University of Pittsburgh
Medical Center in United States, which is an ivy-league institution
counted among the best in the world. In past she has been a consultant
at Venu Eye Institute and Research Centre.
Dr. Parul is a recognized expert in the fields of cornea and glaucoma,
apart from lasers, LASIK and general ophthalmology. She has been
regularly invited for talks at national and international meetings. She
is a reviewer for many journals, and is the first author of a book on
OCT. She is well-versed with all recent advances and has a high level of
expertise in dealing with all kinds of eye diseases.
