Dr. Amrita Kapoor is a senior eye consultant at Visitech. She has been trained extensively at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the prestigious and premier Medical College of India. She has also worked at Southend-on-Sea, England, and is a fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK.

Dr. Amrita has specialized in the fields of pediatric ophthalmology,neuro-ophthalmology, squint and glaucoma after receiving her basic post-graduate training in general ophthalmology at AIIMS. She has expertise in dealing with all kinds of eye surgeries (including phacoemulsification for cataract, oculoplasty surgeries, glaucoma, squint, etc.) investigations and lasers.

Best Senior Research Fellow' Award for the year 2007 at R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, New Delhi.

Recipient of the prestigious National Talent Search Scholarship since 1987.

Dr. Amrita Kapoor has many publications in National and International Journals like Journal of Pediatric ophthalmology and Strabismus, American Journal of Ophthalmology, Indian Journal of Ophthalmology etc. She has participated in several international and national ophthalmology conferences. She is a member of the Indian Retinoblastoma Group. She was invited to attend the prestigious Indo-US Collaborative Workshop organized by the LV Prasad Institute, Hyderabad and the National Eye Institute, USA in Hyderabad in February 2005. She is an active life member of Delhi Ophthalmological Society. and is regularly invited as a speaker in the various meetings and conferences organized by this society.
